Shoulder Pain- The shoulder joint is made up of 3 bones:

Shoulder pain can arise from various causes, including muscle strain, overuse, injury, or underlying health conditions.

The Head of the humerus fits into the socket of the shoulder blade called the glenoid. Several muscles keep the shoulder joint in the aligned position called the rotator cuff. These muscles cover the shoulder joint and allow the smooth movement of the shoulder joint.

Causes:

Multiple reasons can cause shoulder pain.

  1. Tendon injury or inflammation
  2. Instability
  3. Fracture
  4. Arthritis
  5. Nerve impingement

Symptoms:

symptoms can vary according to the problem. But if a patient is diabetic then he/she is more prone to develop shoulder problems like frozen shoulder or tendinitis. Common symptoms are:

  1. Unable to lift the arm up
  2. Restricted movements
  3. Pain
  4. Numbness
